In sickness and health (but mostly sickness)

Paul Krugman explodes some health care myths. As the presidential campaign gets serious, it's important not to let opponents of universal health insurance define the debate.

Have you seen the documentary "Sicko" yet? It is, IMO, Michael Moore's best documentary to date. People in nations with universal health coverage look at health coverage in the US and cannot fathom how we can live with this system. Sure, doctors in the UK only make the US equivalent of $200,000 or so, but they receive incentive bonuses that are based on how well they do at keeping their patients healthy (weight loss, quit smoking, etc). Isn't that how it should be?
