I didn't allow myself to believe until this morning that John Kerry could win, and now I'm being punished for my optimism. Well, at least I didn't make any foolish predictions. And maybe I'll wake up and Kerry will have pulled it off.
But I suspect not. Goodnight.

Thanks. And by the way, it's a bit laughable to call me a liberal. Not that I find the label insulting--far from it--but I think true liberals would be insulted to have me included in their ranks, given many of my beliefs.

It sucks that Kerry lost. I didn't really think he would win, but yesterday I felt extremely optimistic and when I woke up this morning, that changed to a combination of sad, angry, and disappointed. I imagine quite a few people feel the same way.
