With great luck, the baby will say his/her first word, "mommy" on Mothers Day and "daddy" on Father's Day.
That bit of trivia was true for Erik, born on 10-10.
But, there is always sign language too. Ask for the crash course if you wish.

Lucy Jean Potts, 8 lbs. 6 oz, born around 1:40 p.m. Saturday, 9/24/05.
