Tony Soprano, liberal

Pennsylvania's junior senator was immortalized in tonight's "The Sopranos" and I don't know which is funnier--the way Tony butchered his name ("Sanitorium") or that Tony appears to have a more enlightened view of homosexuality. What a fantastic episode.

In non-Sopranos news, this post got a mention at the Trib's Best of the Blogs.

Tonight's show was hilarious. I can't wait to watch it again. For all the humor (and it was funnier than most current sitcoms), Finn realizes that his situation is no laughing matter. And Vito ("The Natural") considering the option to live free or die while "Fourth of July" by X was playing in the background was priceless. Imagine, the one guy who leaves the mob does it without singing to the Feds or swinging at the end of the rope.

But I was first with the actual quote. ;-)

(See, I am far more petty.)
