Yeah, that's a good idea

Well, I guess there is something to be said for swagger:

Safety Anthony Smith not only thinks the Steelers have a chance to beat the undefeated New England Patriots Sunday, he guarantees it.

"We're going to win,'' Smith said today after practice. "Yeah, I can guarantee a win.'' ...

Smith added a little more lumber to the fire when he said New England's receivers haven't been hit the way they will be hit on Sunday.

"They said Baltimore was their most physical game but I think we hit harder than Baltimore, so they haven't seen nothing like us yet.

On the other hand, you don't want to hear someone say, "You know what? Those guys are just too damn good. There's no way we are going to win."

I do wish he hadn't dragged the Patriots' receivers into it. And I don't know what the stats look like, but am I the only one that thinks the Bengals are overrated as an offensive power?

Why yes, yes you are.
Carson Palmer's thrown for more than 3,000 yards this year, Houshmendzadah is leading the league in receptions and Chad Johnson is in the top five in receiving yards.
That said, the rushing offense leaves a lot to be desired, and without a run offense to keep 'em honest, the Bengals' offense becomes one-dimensional.
I think the Bengals' offense has lost a little of its luster since it's being outshone in the division by the Browns, and that hasn't happened for a long time.

Rumor has it, there were more kids in one local school (Baldwin) on Friday that were wearing Patriots jerseys than the black and gold.

My 4th grade son had another in his grade with the NE Pats jersey. Different class, same grade.

Erik, 7th grade, has asked his principal for bodyguards for Monday. (He is joking.)

But, he did get a funny (more joke) phone message. Two of his friends were being held hostage until he took off his Pats jersey. It was a funny phone message by some good humored kids.

I'm pulling for the Stillers! I'll be in the minority in my household. Go figure.
